Haematology

Haematology is the study of the morphology and physiology of blood. A range of tests are used are used for the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases of the blood. Tests can vary from a simple Full Blood Count to more specialist tests such as Haemoglobin electrophoresis or Coagulation studies.
